Tom McCollough began his interior plantscaping business in 1978 with customers in the Los Angeles and Orange County area. Tom’s business was in wholesale flowers along with interior plant services. In 1989, Tom along with his family moved to the Temecula Valley and established Temecula Plantscape. Over the past 30 years, Temecula Plantscape has maintained thousands of plants in Southern California.
In 2019, Peter and Kathryn Braun took over ownership of Temecula Plantscape from Tom, Kathryn’s father. Tom continues to help with the business in an advisory role. Peter Braun began his career in the vineyards of Santa Barbara and later received a B.S. degree from California Polytechnical State University San Luis Obispo in Viticulture and a minor in Soil Science. Over the past 30 years Peter has grown wine grapes in Napa Valley, the Central Coast and south in Bonsall, CA, where he managed an 85-acre vineyard. Peter’s transition from agriculture to interior plants as been rewarding and interesting.
